 UDALBIDE has created and set in motion solid and effective projects to promote Euskera, preserve Basque identity and culture in all its territories, foster relations among institutions and among citizens from the different Basque territories, and promote those initiatives which enable Euskal Herria to be visualized as a single territory. Furthermore, it assists and cooperates wherever possible with other associations and institutions, etc., both from Euskal Herria and beyond our borders, which adhere to the objectives set out by UDALBIDE. The trajectory of UDALBIDE seeks a balance between objectives and courses of action.

UDALBIDE acts in four general nuclei: the Autonomous Region of the Basque Country, Navarre, Iparralde (the North Basque Country) and in the 8º Territory or Basque Diaspora. And the areas of activity are: Euskera, different variants and expressions of culture, the media, economy and the world of work, Hurbiltzen and, lastly, sports.
