Udalbiltza grants aid amounting to 180,300 euros to Nafarroa Oinez 2003

This aid will be used to build the new ikastola of Lumbier-Irunberri.

UDALBILTZA, the Federation of Ikastolas of Navarra and the Ikastola of Lumbier-Irunberri, will next Saturday the 11th of October at the head office of the Navarra capital of this municipal institution of Euskal Herria. Sign an agreement whereby UDALBILTZA is to grant Nafarroa Oinez 2003 aid amounting to 180,300 euros, which will be used to co-finance the building of the new Ikastola of Lumbier-Irunberri.

This year’s Nafarroa Oinez will be held on the 18th of October in Lumbier-Irunberri, specifically with the aim of raising funds for the building of the town’s new Ikastola. The aid from UDALBILTZA is vital and a key for ensuring the financial viability of the project of the new ikastola.

This aid forms part of the policy carried out by UDALBILTZA in helping to develop quality education in Euskera in those territories where the situation of our language is weakest
